Made from a blend of primarily Baby Alpaca and some merino wool. The combination of fibers makes an incredibly soft yet durable yarn for our shrugs.

Inspired by the capelet of Scotland The Outlander was designed to be versatile, lightweight and stylish. You can go from cold weather to temperate indoors without having to haul a large coat around.

It is also great for the chilly office, airport or for running errands. The flexibility of the shrug also means it can be worn by any shape and size!

We made our shrugs with the finest fibers that not only bring you a high quality shrug but also benefit the people of Peru and the planet. Baby Alpaca is actually from adult Alpacas. It is the first shearing from the upper back area, a prime area free from oils and dirt. Baby Alpaca is unique in its ability to be 7 times warmer than wool yet more breathable due to the air pockets in the fibers. Baby Alpaca is also hypoallergenic and free of lanolin and other oils and is far less likely to pill. Merino wool is able to help the shrug keep its shape. Combined these two fibers make the best yarn for your shrug.
